Touki Bouki
We were tapped to reimagine the artwork for Criterion Collection’s rerelease of Djibril Diop Mambéty’s classic film, Touki Bouki. In addition to working with beautiful still images, this project called for custom typography inspired by Senegalese handpainted signs.
Fit The Description
Key art for a film project that engaged black male civilians and officers about their engagement with law enforcement. Tight crops focus on faces, eliminating any cues about profession or status. The subjects are facing opposite directions and type is used as an element that connects them. Photography: Seher Sikandar
Fader 20th
We kept the Fader 20th Anniversary/Vinyl Me Please exclusive pressing extra simple. Instead of ink, all logos and copy on the jacket are metallic vinyl foil on reverse board. The record is crystal clear vinyl with metallic ink on the label.
Supremacy
This piece addresses the systemic oppression and violence our communities are fighting to end. Supremacy is the driving force behind the judicial, legislative, and executive inequities that we refuse to succumb to while serving as a reminder that our fiercest adversary is the system empowering those who violate us.
