I’m not sure whether I first saw John Lautner’s Sheats Goldstein Residence in a movie or in a magazine. Either way, it made a lasting impression. Years later I was art directing a photo shoot in LA and had an opportunity to shoot there. The first thing you realize when you walk in is that this place is more than a home; it is a work of art.

After describing the place to a friend I did a quick search and found this footage of the house and its owner.
